AME is specialized in the design of wireless systems, embedded systems and biomedical sensing applications.  Their work is concentrated on grant-funded research for biomedical application. As of April 2010, we are jointly working on nine grant-funded projects related to wireless medical technology and wireless hearing aids.  IntriCon holds licenses to this technology for the markets we serve.

Our partners in Melbourne, Australia are specialists in embedded software for optimizing voice communications, with particular emphasis on supreme audio quality and enhanced speech intelligibility. Their technology is used in leading-edge hearing aids, cochlear implants, and Bluetooth earpieces.  Our latest collaboration is the Scenic™ DSP Hearing Aid Amplifier – available now only from IntriCon. 

On SemiConductor

Our work together focuses on development and application of specialized ultra-low-power DSP and radio integrated circuits for hearing aids. Our collaboration has produced the most affordable, feature-rich hearing aid amplifiers available.
